The naming of dolls (and winners)

... is a difficult matter*.

Well, apparently, anyway. The nameless Withered Pullip is still a nameless Withered Pullip - although I'm starting to like the sound of that as a name, anyway.

Nameless Withered Pullip it is.

Nameless Withered Pullip
With a name like 'Nameless Withered Pullip', of course she hangs around in cemeteries

We still have a winner of the name-the-doll contest, however.

The lovely Lirion suggested 'Swamp Fox' as a name. While it doesn't really fit Nameless, it's perfect for one of the other three dolls.

Meet Swamp Fox.

Meet Swamp Fox
Swamp Fox - she looks so cranky!

Now, of course, there needs to be a prize. Lirion, you get a choice. Would you like something for you, or something for someone else? Comment and let me know!

*With apologies to TS Elliot for misquoting his poetry, of course.

Wow this is VERY interesting. I can't believe I stumbled upon your blog. You design dolls? Your blog reminds me of Being John Malkovich... in a way. :)
Thought you might want to check out my collaborative blog - Dysfunctional Beginnings - about growing up and beginnings of all kinds. Material includes literary writing, nonfiction, fiction, poetry, photography, video, etc. We've survived it. Now let's attest to it.

Hi Jessica, thanks for popping by. Being John Malkovich is a new one; is it the hair?
