By the pricking of my thumbs... ouch.
When I visualised this photo, it was a lot more dramatic. My whole hand was in the shot, for starters. And there was more blood. A lot more blood.
But when you're sitting with a finger-pricking lancet and a hand, it seems there's only so much blood you can squeeze out. And you'd be surprised how hard it is to frame a shot when you can't actually look through the viewfinder, and are sitting with a remote in your right hand, and a rapidly congealing left hand waving in front of the lens. Thank the gods for an autofocus camera.

Careful Handling.
I have blisters on my callouses these days. It hurts - especially the blood blisters. I'd have thought that nine months on crutches would have acclimatised me, but apparently not.
